Love Walking

[S] - Life-changing

This is both a practical and a philosophical hack that has changed my life.

"The man who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination." — Lao Tzu

WHAT: When I enjoy the journey (the walking), the goals (the destination) just happen. I’ll hit milestones as a side effect. Plus, walking (literally) is a timeless practice embraced by thinkers and everyday people because not only is it physically healthy, it also soothes the mind, sparks creativity, and even connects us to the world and ourselves, making it a simple yet profound way to find peace and inspiration.

HOW: Each morning, while everyone is still asleep, I head out for a leisurely stroll, brisk enough to keep my focus away from my phone yet slow enough to savor the moment. The walk kickstarts my brain, allowing thoughts to flow freely — the perfect environment for thinking and thanking.

WHY: When I'm lost — overwhelmed, uncertain, or uninspired, I walk and ask myself, 'What would this look like if it were easy? What would this look like if it were fun?' nudging myself that productivity isn't just about discipline — it's finding joy in each step.

Plus, if I don't stroll, I scroll; and scrolling is the new smoking (and so is sitting).
